A message from the President...
What makes our guild great? Our
Mission Statement and Code of Ethics put forth a high standard
to live up to. Our members are up to the task. Our guild
is all about sharing. Our meetings are a safe haven
for our members. When we get together it is not to one-up
each other, but to help each other. Unfortunately, on a
couple of occasions recently, we have had comments made
during meetings that do not fit well with this helping environment.
We all need to stand by our members and support them. Hopefully,
most of you do not have the slightest idea about what I
am referring to.
Now lets get on with matters
at hand. The Board felt it appropriate to include both the
Code of Ethics and our Mission Statement in the newsletter
this time. What makes our guild great? It is not the codes
of ethics or missions statements. It is the people who subscribe
to them. IT IS US.
