PPGCS OFFICERS & CHAIRPERSONS–
2006
New PPGCS Requirements
As photographers, we need to continue to
strive to do the very best for our clients. Whether if be
in customer service, photographing the needs of the client
or just making them feel very comfortable and special at
that given time. Not only will it make their day, it will
make yours too. I think I get as much satisfaction when
a client thanks me for beautiful and creative work as the
client does. Set your standards high and review your progress
weekly. As a member of PPGCS, you're expected to set high
standards. This leads me to my next thought, change is coming
to PPGCS. In the next couple of months, the board will reveal
new standards each member will be required to complete.
These changes will be incorporated into the By-laws of PPGCS
and will take affect in January 2006. If we are to be called
the, "Professional Photographers' Guild of Colorado
Springs" and affiliate of PPA National organization,
then members will be excepted to achieve certain objectives
and goals as members.

A message from the President
Hello fellow members!
It is hard to believe that we
are almost to the end of the first quarter of the year!
I hope you spent the slow time getting all your
promotions, advertising, and marketing ready for the rest
of the year. This is the best way to help achieve or surpass
your goals. Hopefully, you have already determined your
specific goals for the year. If you are in need of help
to do this, contact myself or other members in the PPGCS,
and they can assist you with this most important action.
This month, our education meeting
will be by Chris Waldron, Cr. Photog., PPA Certified. He
will speak on correct and corrective posing. Bring your
questions and challenges and he will demonstrate how to
best solve them.
We are hard at work in upgrading
our newsletter and our website. Suggestions are welcomed.
We would like to add links to all of our member web sites.
Please e-mail me at mail@familystudio.com
with your site address.
Do you know of any vendors, suppliers,
or other photographer that would be interested, and benefit
from membership in our group? I would like to contact them.
Just let me know, and I will be in touch with them as soon
as possible.
Thank you all for your continued
support and membership in our guild. Our success is built
by our education and the relationships we make with our
clients and other professional photographers.
Success!

Music to License for Slideshows
Are you looking for beautiful music
to license for use in the slideshows you create
for your clients?
I am a songwriter as
well as a photographer, and I have original recorded
music available for licensing on reasonable terms
that are designed to meet your individual needs.
I have 10 instrumental tracks that would work in
almost any kind of slideshow, and 10 vocal tracks
for wedding slideshows. Our fellow PPGCS member
Wilson Hitchings has licensed my music -- see how
it works in one of his online wedding albums by
going to: www.bestvisualsweddings.com/NorwoodHTML/
For more info, see
the licensing page on my music website,
