Jeff Mallo will discuss the equipment and techniques needed for underwater photography and unique differences that need to be considered from above water photography. The presentation will focus on equipment needs and pre-dive preparation of both diver and camera, considerations during the dive (proper buoyancy, breathing techniques, and safety), and post dive maintenance of equipment. After this presentation you will have a good understanding of the equipment and techniques needed to capture amazing underwater images while scuba diving!
Jeff has been taking award winning underwater photography for 25 years. Jeff has completed over 1500 dives, most of them with a camera in hand. He has photographed in fresh water and salt water in rivers, quarries, cenotes, lakes and oceans during this time. Jeff has experience in several types of diving to include deep diving, wreck diving, ice diving, and nitrox diving and he enjoys both wide angle and macro photography…
