Mark Reis joins us and will speak about and show images from his more than 30-year career as a photojournalist. He will also share some of the joys and challenges of covering ten Olympic Games.

Mark is a 1980 graduate of Iowa State University and has been working as a photojournalist since then. He is passionate about photojournalism and loves to tell peoples’ stories with photographs. Mark was the Director of Photography at The Gazette until 2017 when he left to become a full-time freelancer. He has covered ten Olympic Games and five Superbowls for the Gazette and won the Olympic Media Association Gold prize for his coverage of the Nagano Games. He is married, has two daughters and five grandchildren.
