Denver-based, internationally noted, editorial-portrait photographer, art director, and creative educator Jonny Edward explores processes, approaches, and techniques for creating moody, cinematic, and uniquely impactful portraits heavily inspired by the fashion world. The focal points of the workshop will be lighting, framing|cropping, and posing. With a strong background in editorial portraiture, fashion photography, and allied filmmaking, Jonny has a singular and elegantly simple approach to creating powerful portraits that are human-centric but expressed through extensive experience and technical prowess, a melding of art and science and an ode to both yesteryear and modernity.

Attendees will come away from the workshop with a greater technical understanding of how to light, frame, and pose and the inspiration to integrate those respective tools and techniques to create dynamic, powerful, and personally significant portraits.
