PPGCS would like to take a moment to introduce, James Harris of James Harris Photography
James is a multi-award-winning fine art landscape photographer and photo educator based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. he holds a PPA Master of Photography degree (M.Photog.) and is a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP). He's very involved with the local Colorado Springs photography scene and currently the Sponsorship Director of the Professional Photographers Guild of Colorado Springs (PPGCS).
His greatest accomplishments were hard to narrow down but his clients include the likes of TAG Heuer watches with a full page magazine ad, American Honda, Victory Motorcycles, and the Gary Sinese Foundation to name a few. He was also especially proud of earning his Master photographer degree from Professional Photographers of America in 2022.
James uses Nikon gear (AWESOME CHOICE per the writer of this article) including Nikon D850, RRS Versa 4-section CF tripod, Nikkor 24-120mm f/4G ED VR AF-S lens, Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G ED AF-S lens, Nikkor 70-200mm 1:2.8G AF-S VR lens, and my Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6 ED VR AF-S lens.
When asked what is one goal or dream he had for the future James said that after overcoming a few medical setbacks, he looks forward to leading on location workshops by the end of the year.
He's been a member of PPGCS since 2017 and the fellowship and friends he's made have been "the most enjoyable experience of being a member".
